GCSE Design Technology - how can I apply ergonomics to my product?

For my Design Technology GCSE I'm making a bird house, and part of objective 2 is to show how I have used anthropometric data as part of making my product. What sort of ergonomics would I need for a bird house? I only thought I'd need the data of birds, but I won't get any marks for this bit unless I show I've used human data.

Note: I know what kind of bird data I need, but anthropometrics is HUMAN data - what kind of human measurements would I have to consider in my design?

well, the handle. the width of your hand. so the 95%ile male.

  2. as far as i can imagine, all you'd need is to show the size of it in relation to an average human.

  3. Does it look nice? How easy is it to install? Maintain? Are humans benefitting from its presence? For example, are birds more visible because of its presence?

  4. your lucky I took graphics dis year and ergonomics is the study of how the human bodies musclosketal structure reactes with other products. You must tallk about how the shape is comfortable to hold or fit for purpose and how this will effect his audience.
