I just want to know what percentage is the cousework from overall marks?...

And I just had english gcse exam yesterday. I am so worried that i might get lower than C because the overall marks of the exam paper is 40 and I only answered the 1st question which is worth 10 marks and the 3rd/last question which is worth 20 marks but I also answered the 2nd question but only a paragraph. How many marks do i have to get to achieve a C grade?

if I get mostly C in my coursework and a D on my exam, will I get a C on overall marks?

THANX in advance!

  1. This course prepares students for AQA GCSE English syllabus 3703 for examination in 2008 and later years. Assessment is by two written papers worth 60% of the total mark.

        *

Paper 1 (1 Hour 40 Minute) is 30% of the total marks. The paper will consist of two sections; Section A is one question testing reading and response to pre-released media texts and one question testing reading and response to an unseen nonfiction text. Section B is one question testing writing in response to the .triplet. argue, persuade, advise.

        *

Paper 2 (1 ½ Hours) is 30% of the total marks. The paper will consist of two sections; Section A is one question testing reading and response to pre-released and unseen poetry from different cultures. Section B is one question testing writing in response to the .triplet. argue, persuade, advise.

20% of the marks are by an oral examination to be sat at a local testing centre and the last 20% is made up of 4 pieces of coursework. We have chosen this syllabus as it is the most suited to distance learning.
