  1. I don't think we need to know about hazards either, however, it'd be best to have a little bit of revision about coasts and hazards, just in case.

You'll have to revise the other sub-topics you did. I, for example, have Water, Tourism, Population and Employment to revise. You'll need to know your case studies, really well.

Good luck with it! I'm not feeling great about this exam. :(

  2. its a skills paper.

So unfortunately there is no set topic.

The trick is, be sure you can quickly and easily use map skills, know all of the signs, directions and 6 figure map references.

Also there will be alot of source questions, so remember the phrase D.A.M.I.T.

D = date (how reliable is it now?)

A = Author (why did they do it? biased?)

M = Motivation (why was it made? can you trust what it shows?)

I = Intended audience (government to show how poor an area is? if so is it biased? how likely is the picture?)

T = Tone (persuasive? if so its most likely biased and not reliable)

It is also helpful to have some case study knowledge. If you are shown a picture of a volcano then you can link the effects with that of another e.g mount Pinatubo.

Other than that you cant revise for it.

    Good Luck.

  3. As said above, its a map skills paper so its hard to revise for.

In the revision guides there are usually sections at the back with important information and help for this exam.

I have this exam next week aswell.

As also said above, its helpful to know some case studies because for my mocks last year we had a part on mining and quarrying and my case study on Dartmoor helped with answering this.
