Question:

GCSE Results and lots of nerves!?

I find out my GCSE results in less than 7 hours, and I am so incredibly nervous!

The thing is, I really don't want to disappoint my parents.

At the beginning of year 11 I was predicted 15 A*-B, but in my recent MOCKs, my grades weren't as good as I had hoped.

I was also stupid enough not to tell my parents about that.

So basically, if anyone knows of any ways to help calm my nerves or for me to try and get some sleep I would really appreciate it if they could tell me!

Thank you in advance

  1. Don't worry about it!!

I'm getting mine too....dunno when or how to get them though!!

And I've probably done really badly because I sort of gave up and I think I might have failed one (thats the schools fault though...honest!!)

    And...yeah

    So im still up too

    Although im usually up

    And reallyyyyy nervous

Maybe you should listen to classical music, or tell yourself that if you go to sleep, then you'll have less time to wait until its all over and the whole nervousness thing will be over??

Oh yeah, and Good Luck!!!! I'm sure you'll do fine...

    xx

  2. Just think to yourself,i've done them now and i cant change the result,so what the h**l,try not to worry, good luck to you and to everyone who has taken their gcse/a levels

  3. Go to bed

    Count sheep

Tell your parents NOT to shout at you when you bring your results home as the anticipation kept you up til 3am

but be prepared to be pleasantly surprised.

Oh and confession is good for the soul

  4. Hello,

I'm getting my results tomorrow aswell and I'm nervous too, especially since I was predicted really high grades, like you. The best thing you can do tomorrow is quickly open the envelope, look at your results without hesitating and then deal with what you see afterwards; there's no point thinking about what you'll do if you get D's and E's if there's no need. I'm sure your parents will be really proud of you even if you don't do as well as you hope to. xoxo
