  1. I think most of us feel just the way you do!

    I took

    HISTORY

    DUTCH

    GERMAN

    MATHS

    ENGLISH

    SCIENCE

    GRAPHIC DESIGN

    RELIGIOUS STUDIES

    MEDIA

    CITIZENSHIP

I think i left one out but i have no clue..

I AM SO NERVOUS.. I FEEL SICK TO THE PITS OF MY STOMACH.. I REALLY REALLY DO. Sorry it's just too hard.. The maths higher paper BETTER have lower mark boundaries, i would feel a lot better.. I want to get into that grammar school. Good luck.

  2. I'm so nervous I can't sleep at night. I hope I done alright, but if I done bad it means I can't go to college so that won't be so bad, cos I don't wanna go to college. I took

    English, Higher

    Maths, Higher

    Science

    ICT

    Business Studies

    Art Graphics

    Good Luck =)

  3. Im shiting myself.

Im so scared. My parents are gonna make me quit school if i don't get good grades. Thye expect me to do really well, but ive been really ill in the last year and ive missed alot of work and teachers help and i haven't had enough time to understand everything properly like the rest of the class have.

    I did:

H  Double Science 21st century. i got A in my C/W and im predicted A/A*

H  Maths. Dunno what i got in my C/W cos i was ill for most of the C/W, but im guessing an A*(peice 2) and a C/D(peice 1) and im predicted A*, but i won't get that.

    H  English. C in my C/W and predicted B

    N/A  R.S. Im predicted a C.

H  History. Got an A* in my C/W and Predicted an A/A*

    H  French. Im predicted a C

H  Textiles. My C/W was a C, But apparently my written pappers are good. Im predicted an A

N/A  And Art. Im predicted a C. When i got my last update my coursework was jumbled up, but it was a C.

And the boundaries depend. Only a certain percentage of people can get each grade. So if an abnormal amount of people got in the 90%s for ummm, lets say, maths, not all of them could get an A*, even though they all got marks that should be good enough for A*s because only like 10% can get an A* so the grades are more varied out. So the boundary changes to where each percentage is. Hence why the boundaries change. It makes it easier to distinguish the smart children and the not so smart. All the time kids are getting smarter and smarter, if the grade boundaries kept the same, there would be no way of knowing who was really smart and who wasn't so smart because they would all have the same grades.

Its pretty stupid and makes really smart kids feel bad if they get a good mark but the boundary is just above there mark, cos loads of people got good marks.

BTW  H= Higher F=foundation and N/A=not aplicable or no leveling in the subject

  4. hey

atm i am okay, but i kow by tomorrow morning i will be absolutly shitting myself thinking... i've probably failed!!! ahhhhhh.

    i took

i want A* for epa and textiles, hopefully an A for geography and B's for everything else.

    what did u take?

good luck by the way. xx

  5. My bets are

    English Lit - C

    English Lang - D

    Maths - C

    Science Core - B

    Science Additional - C

    History - A maybe even A*

    Drama - B

    Graphic Design - C

    R.S - C

yeah man i think maths will have VERY high boundaries thus a C!

  6. OMGOMGOMGOMGOMGOMG!!!

I actually want to jump off a cliff. I don't want tomorrow to come, yet at the same time I want to know my results now, right at this moment, rather than waiting all the way until tomorrow. My dads not making things any better, either. I've been spending the entire day at home, and whenever I walk past him, he says something like "GCSE results tomorrow, don't forget!", and in my mind I just think "please shut up, as if I really need to be reminded of it! As if I don't have enough pressure put on me!"

I took about thirteen subjects in total, but four of them I've already done, I'm just waiting for the results of the other nine subjects to arrive at school tomorrow, and although I'm really intelligent, I'm also extremely lazy and I did not work anywhere near as hard as I could have, so quite frankly I'm doubtful about all of the exams that I took this summer.

I would be over the bloody moon if the maths grade boundaries were lower this year, but to be honest I don't think that's going to happen, because for some reason they put a lot more D-grade questions than usual, which is why about 75% of the paper was absolute p**s. However, I think that to get an A*, or maybe even just an A, you would need to have gotten all, or at least most of the hard questions right, that's why I think the maths boundaries are going to be higher rather than lower this year. And trust me, I chose Maths as one of my A-level options, so that is not good news at all!

Anyway, I'm so nervous I think I'm going to p**s myself, now, so I'll just be going to the toilet (I'm not joking, by the way, I REALLY do need to go).

Ah, it feels good to let it out...my emotions, I mean...

  7. i know!!!

  8. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...

really starting to panic actually I'm so going to disappoint like everyone with my results!! :S I'm hoping the boundaries for most things have come down in science espesh i mean cmon what was with the science "thinking" paper 4 thing?! i must admit ive never given ecstasy to a baby and discovered its repercussions!! honestly- stupid question!!

    anyway i did:

    English Lit (higher)

    English Lang (higher)

    Maths (higher)

    Science Additional (higher)

    Food tech (higher)

    Geography (higher)

    French (higher)

    German (higher)

    RE

    Citizenship

i mean god i would love straight As perhaps with a few sprinklings of A*s if thats not too much (as predicted)- in fact i mean i would bloody ectatic (sorry 4 the dodgy spelling btw) and you know 10 A*s and i dunno a B and i would be on the moon!!!!! but would be happy with mostly As and Bs. i mean straight Bs bit dodgy but well thats what i need to get into my 6th form so would be gr8ful!

OMG SOOOOOO DNT WANT TO FAIL AND LET EVERYONE DOWN !!!!!

however good luck everybody fingers xd
