GCSE geography....???

Question

I'm taking GSCE geography this year.. and i'm going to be in year 10!! I just wanted to know what the course will contain.. so i know what i'll be studying about!! Also is it hard.. and what is the course like...any advice will help!! Thank you. x

i studied GCSE geography and it was actually ok. I suppose it requires a person to be logical about the questions asked, based upon environmental aspects, social aspects, etc. You will probably require learning about different case studies, such as recent natural hazards, rivers and a lot of topics. It would probably be better to start revising as soon as you can on each topic because there is a lot to learn. As you will just begin it, you have the best opportunity to get a head start, maybe even with a revision guide. You will have different topics to study - natural hazards, rivers, ecosystems, development, climate, etc.
