  1. English - Definitely needed

    Possibly Geography

    hope i helped

  2. Obviously you will need english and it is always good to take another langauage such as french or german. It will help somehow and beside all of that, you need to read alot.

  3. consider doing another language, e.g. spanish, (you'll have better experience with languages and lots of employers look for additional languages in potential employees)

business could be good because you may need to know how best to market yourself and it is a good subject to have anyway

and maybe art or something creative...

hope that helps, and if you don't like any of your choices remember that you can change them and not all qualifications (e.g. A levels or at uni) have specific requirements so there is no need to worry about it too much yet...

  4. I once wanted to be a journalist. I'd go for Geography (if you'd need to write about somewhere foreign it could work in your favour in a CV) and maybe a foreign language? (Obviously English is a core subject, there's no point in advising to take English...)

If these 2 subjects don't appeal to you though, don't take them. Take something you enjoy and will do well in. GCSE's are a stepping stone to A levels and these plus a degree will better determine your career. English language and media studies at A level are good for journalism...I'm about to start my second year of A levels in September :)

  5. are you good at languages? french, german or spanish and i think r.e. is good for g.c.s.e

  6. english and geography
