GCSE requirements for International Baccalaureate?

well my sister is going to sixth form and she will be doing an International Baccalaureate i just want to know how high do your marks have to be in your GCSEs to be able to do them

  1. In my school they wanted an average of 7 Bs, where an A counted as 2 Bs, an A* counted as 3 Bs and a 2 Cs counted as a B. They also asked for a B in all the subjects you want to do in the sixth form, although they can be flexible on this if you get a high C grade or something :-)


  2. Hey, i'm doing it too, I needed A's for higher subjects, and B's for standard subjects, so I pretty much needed a MINIMUM OF 3 A's and 3B's thankfully, I got 9 A's and 2B's and an A*

  3. There are no official entry requirements for the bac.

    But your college will have their eye on their stats, so will turn away anyone who is likely to achieve a low score.
