I will be starting the IB diploma this month and after I complete it I was going to take the resits...Well I recently got my results 6 Bs (additional science, art, online english and numeracy), 4 Cs (english lit and lang, science(year 10), and food tech) and then 2 Ds (maths and spanish) I know I need to retake maths. I was wondering what else I should resit (wanna be a doctor...I know it will take a lot of work but I AM willing to do it)

  1. I would imagine you need A grades in science to get far in the world of medicine.  I would think that English needs to be bought up to a B if possible too.

  2. Honestly those grades aren't really good enough for you to become a doctor!

You basically need 3 Science As at A-Level (Maths, Biology, Chemistry are the most important)

A C in science and a D in maths show me that you're not really capable of achieving the required grades.

Of course you've got a chance if u work your *** off, and i would definately recommend re-sitting maths and science - aim for As.

    Good luck

  3. just maths.

  4. Probably sciences.

  5. As long as they get you into the college you need to go to they don't really matter much, you can probably do much better in college than at school because you have much more interest.
