  1. Id open them with your friends. It only happends once, and imagine if u opened them at home and they were bad, ud have no one to celebrate with. & if u opened them at school and they were bad, You may not be the only one which would make you feel better! Definatly at school.

  2. at school cos if you get better than what they sed you'll wana rub it in and if not pretend like you're happy then go home straight away x

    lol

    Jangles!.X

  3. I would open them at school! Last year I took 2 GCSE's (I was in Year 10) and I didn't want to open them. Yet when the grades were just hidden behind a piece of paper I couldn't resist. And I got 2 A's! So I would just go for it, there's no point being self conscious because people will find out how you do sooner or later! Also if you open it at home you can't experience the joy of having everyone happy together :)! Its up to you, but I bet you will do just fine!

  4. id open them at school but its totally up to you . its really not such a biggie.

i have them too, not that bothered because i know ive tried and can always resit if some go horribly wrong!

also i look around and see succesful people, most i know dint concentrate that much at school .

good luck though and dont worry.

i wanted at least an A* in one thing, got an A* in my exam but not in coursework so i was pretty pissed but dint ruin my life! just made me more determined!!!!

  5. I opened them at school. I opened my A Level results today, and cried because I got a B instead of an A. Don't worry, everyone cries. If you would rather do it privately then go home. It's your choice. Most groups of friends open theirs together and compare, but if you are like me I get upset when people have done better than me lol :(

  6. Nearly everyone cries when they get their results - either because they've done bad (very few people actually do terribly) - or because they did well.

Open them at school. The atmosphere with your friends waiting for results, and after you get your results is something that everyone should experience.

Don't be upset if you don't do as well as you hoped. Once you've got your A levels/other Qualificatios, nobody asks you 'oh what did you get for you Historuy GCSE)

  7. Heyy!

I pick up my results next thursday, and I am going to open them in the car, on the way back home. I don't want to open them at school for two reasons:

    1. Because if they are bad, I will start crying, and I dont want all my friends to know

    2. If they are really good, I don't want to feel as though I am showing off to all my mates

    Good Luck!!!

  8. Just open them, i did last year, and i fulfilled my personal targets, but not the teachers and i got kicked out of my snotty school.

But opened my As levels today, and i can rub it in my old schools faces as i done pretty well minus 1 subject which i dropped but got entered in the exam for.

  9. I'm going to open mine by myself somewhere alone.

The newspaper come to my school to take photos of people but if I'm honest I'd rather keep it to myself.

Also I agree with what someone else said, if they're really bad you'll be upset and embarassed but if they're really good you'll look like you're boasting if you start showing off.

I'm too nervous about mine. I know some will be bad so I'd rather open them alone.

    Good luck!

  10. I feel exactly the same! And b/c i've tried really hard i wanna get good results too! As for opening them, do what you feels best on the day maybe? Good Luck anyway I'm sure you'll do fine! Fingers crossed eh?

  11. I'm in the same position as u, I'm crapping myself about this. I'm worried i wont get the results i need for college :'(
