GCSE results(2008) Waht did you get and how do you feel?

Question

Did some of you not get the grades needed for you A level subjects.

Any dilemmas.

I got:

IT-A

Geography-B (not happy-the teacher is probably feeling big headed)

Music-B (I got full marks in my coursework and was made to think i'll get an A or A* but I'm happy cos i really didn't want to do A level music and this made my decision soooooo much easier-Woooohooo!

Maths-A* (yeah! proved myself to my teacher)

Textiles-A (why thank you)

French- B (S**t got an A in mock)

Engilsh lang- C ( i messed up man-i was predicted an A and got a B in the mock)

English lit- B (good enough for me)

ScienceA - A

Additional science- A* (ask God...)

RS- A

So i wanna do either physics or further maths instead of music Can someone help me please.

im really proud of these cus i got to a really rough comprehensive school in inner city b-ham and hav never had a tutor or nufin i wish i would have gotten A*s in english and lit though i was predicted them but overall i couldnt b happier

What you do next year should depend on what job you want or what uni course you think you might want, I guess further maths might look pretty good on your CV tho :)

Your results are really good tho, you must be pleased!

I only did one GCSE (French) this year, cos I just left Year 10, but I got an A* so I can stay I got straight A*s, lol, I know I'll f**k up next year tho :)

well i feel pretty rubbish seeing everyone elses grades, i got 1 a*, 1 a, 8 bs and 1 c.

though of the 3 subjects i had actual marks for all of the were 1,3 and 4 marks off an A.

hoping to get them remarked.

and a distinction in IT (diff course? :S)

A* - Biology (SYKED i thought i was gunna' get an A)

A - Physics (Disappointed but expected, revision didn't go too well for my exams, Dude Where's My Car was a lot more interesting :|)

A - Chemistry (Satisfied, it was an incredibly difficult exam)

A - Maths ( Disappointed, i think if i did it next year with no Courseowrk i would of got an A* - i got a D in the coursework)

A - Electronics (Again i am SYKED about this result, i must say electronics is THE hardest subject on the curriculum.)

A - French (Happy, only got C in the coursework, so was expecting B overall, so it's a nice surprise)

A - IT Shortcourse (People have been telling me you can't get an a* on shortcourse so i'm pleased)

A - History (Incredibly dissappointed as i got 49/50 in the coursework, hopefully going to get it remarked)

A - Geography (Again Incredibly disspointed as this was one of the subjects i was sure to get an a* and close to full marks, for some reason it did not work out so i am going to try and get that remarked too)

B - English Lit. (It was expected so yeah, pleased with that)

B - English (Again it was expected so nice to see it worked out)

B - RE - (Stupid subject, but i got an A in judaism, sadly my knowledge of Christianity was lacking so i dropped down a grade, ah well, not bothered about this subject)

Next Stop - Shrewsbury Sixth Form College

I got eight A stars, two As and one B. I'm pretty pleased but my cat died today, so the moment has gone and I'm back to feeling sad. I had him for 13 years :(
