GE Digital Converter Box?

so i just bought the ge converter box... and I have a magnavox tv/vcr/dvd combo, with a phillips antenna. the thing is when i connect it it doesnt work. i dont really know how2 set it up so if i can please get help on directions id appriciate it.

hook your antenna to the input on the converter box and then go from the output of the converter to the tv's coax input. then set the tv on channel 3 (might be ch4) which ever one gives you the menu of the converter box and run the auto scan. should work
