GE Microwave oven

Question

I have a GE Spacemaker XL Microwave Oven. One of the lights underneath burned out and while trying to replace it the light broke and I not only shorted out the other light but now the vent fan does not work either. I replaced the two lights...this is how I know they do not work and of course I mentioned the fan also stopped working. When I select the lights or vent fan I can hear what sounds like a little "click" that seems to be in the area of the selection panel. Any ideas what I may have done and how I could correct it?
