We recently purchased a condo with a GE Profile "Arctica" (white) side-by-side refrigerator, model # PSC23MGMB WW. The previous owner's warranty documents show registration in February, 2002.
The refrigerator side (right side) freezes milk, vegetables, etc. The manufacturer's "suggested settings" are 5 / 5 (freezer side / refrigerator side), with 9 being coldest, and 1 being least cold.
We have tried setting the refrigerator setting down to 1, and waiting a day to see if it had any effect. This did provide a MINOR increase in temperature, but things like milk and vegetables still freeze (just not as badly as when refrig is set to 5).
Has anyone had a similar problem with this model? If so, please tell us what you did to solve the problem.
Thank you.
