GE Refrig runs short time and shuts off

Question

We have a 5 year old GE fridge that recently began acting up. It will run only about 5 minutes, regardless of thermostat setting, then shuts off. The evaporator coils are clean, the compressor barely even warms up before shutting off. The freezer circulation fan continues to run. I suspect the main control board since blogs suggest that they frequently fail.
