GE Refrigerator making "rumbling" sound

Question

We have GE refrigerator, which looks like this http://newkunst.com/images/products/pid1000140.jpg (shift + click) and lately we have noticed a rumbling sound coming from it when the door is closed. As soon as we open either the freezer or refrigerator side, it stops & if we either close it or just push the button in on the top. It starts again. It's only about 2-3 years old. Any ideas would be great.

Sounds like the small fan motor has just started becoming a little loud or is vibrating.

The new GE refrigerators have a multi speed DC evaporator fan motor in the freezer and are known for this problem. When you open the door the fan motor will stop or slow way down. I feel sorry that you have this box because you will end up hating it. GE has had MANY recalls on this style refrig. Go online and tpye GE refrigerator recall.
