GE dishwasher won't drain or cycle

Question

Our GE dishwasher gets about halfway through its wash cycle then stops. Sometimes it will start up again and finish, almost like an internal circuit breaker had reset.It is completely unresponsive, no matter where the dial is set. Water is standing in the bottom.Model is a GE GSDL112F01WW.
