GE profile refrigerator model # TBX25PR

Question

I have a GE profile refrigerator w/ ice maker (TBX25PR). The ice maker dispenser isn't working. It makes ice but when you push the door button you hear the motor but ice does not dispense. It seems the ice maker drive mechanism is not rotating. It worked in the morning and then it just stopped. I tried to rotate the drive mechanism but it seems stuck. What can I do? It is a pain because to get ice you have to completely remove the ice container- a very poor design.
