GE side by side refrigerator is rumbling. My 3 year old GE side by side refrigerator (GSS23SGSB)

Question

My 3 year old GE side by side refrigerator (GSS23SGSB) suddenly has a rough, rumbling noise coming from the freezer compartment. It's like the motor is running roughly. That's Problem A. Problem B is that our condo developer wedged the fridge in so tightly that I'm worried I might not be able to pull it out in case maintenance has to be done at the rear. Is there a trick to using the rollers -- i.e, to make sure they're not locked or immobilized or something? Thanks in advance for any assistance!
