Question:

GED Test Taking Tips?

My GED test is on July 16th and 17th. I took a free GED class and took the practice tests and passed them, but the practice tests were from 2002. Now, I have also been studying out of Barron's GED 2007-2008. I'm very nervous. Is there any advice you could give me? Thanks.

  1. First, stay calm and don't be nervous. You've been taking practice exams and studying so you should feel confident. Developing test anxiety will not help during your exam.

I would suggest at this point to do as many practice problems as you can from your Barron's book and any other books that you can find. Have a good night sleep the day before and don't stay up studying.

I wish you the best of luck on your exam. You can do it!

  2. I passed the GED eariler this year. If you did well on the practice tests - you should fly through the real thing. It was MUCH easier than I thought.

    Good Luck!
