GEELONG how embarrassing ?

Geelong rested ,while Collingwood traveled to Perth last week and played extra time to win . Then Geelong can only beat them in a Prelim final by less than a goal , with 5 goals from FREES , and without forwards firing ..funny that ...

The Cats had 9 all Australians, Collingwood NONE, and came from 6th, place, but still, Geelong "only" win against them by 5 pts, thats embarrassing. ! Collingwood had 10 players and an irishman perform better than, Chapman Ling Sellwood Harley N.Ablett Mooney Scarlett Rooke Wojinski and Blake. The AFL continually DUD the public, nearly 100,000 at the game ...and get away with it !

Collingwood wont whinge they never do ! The AFL through (umpires ) have obviously decided its the Cats" turn" for a flag, however,who is the most deserving next year, must be FREO! Dont laugh , just prove I am wrong,.... if ya can !

Collingwood played great. THey should have won. They would have if Chris Bryan kicked the open goal quicker, though he gave two Geelong players to come up to him before he kicked just to get the ball smothered. Collingwood played great, we did so well to stop Geelong. So pi**ed that we didn't win. Oh well. Always next year.

Hope Port win the granny now, stuff Geelong.

Collingwood only had to travel five times this year so if the AFL trying to rig the premiership the draw was in your favour and always is.

Ask yourself how many friday games Collingwood played.

I wouldn't be to tough on the umpires because after all they did help you win last week.

Geelong were the better side and there is nothing worse than a sore loser.

DEEDUBYA,collingwood don't have to whinge when they have plenty of supporters like you to do it for them,firstly-you mention free kicks,well let me just say collingwood had 26 free kicks including 1 50mtr penalty (which was more like 60mtr)and resulted in a goal to o'bree compared to Geelong who received 21 frees for the game,you say geelong had 5 frees in front of goal when actually they only received 2 in the frwd 50 with 1 resulting in a goal compared to collingwood who received 3 in their fwrd 50 in which 2 resulted in goals.

secondly the AFL have duded no one Geelong were the better side and to be honest the better side to represent Victoria in a granny,collingwood have had 2 chances against an interstate side recently and they CHOKED!! ,big deal you had to travel finish higher up the ladder and you wont have to travel,your just lucky west coast had some key injuries because if only 1 of the big 3 midfielders were playing then it would have been lights out for collingwood last week.

so to sum up: Geelong weren't embarrassing,collingwood supporters who sook up and talk $h!t are embarrassing,you got beaten by a better side get over it :(  CHEERS! typical collingwood supporter

Geelong choked ... actually copped a caning in the free kicks for the first half, actually only kicked three (3) goals from free kicks (one more than Collingwood) ....

i actually tipped collingwood to win and to be honest i thought the pies had a good run with the umps

so Geelong won by 106 a few weeks ago it means nothing, some people were saying the cats cant lose they won by 106 anybody who has knowledge of football know this means nothing just like no body gave north a chance last week against hawthorn because the roos lost by 106

i would prefer to see the pies in the GF than geelong but hey you kicked out West Coast and the swannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnies so its all Good

Geelong and their supporters should be embarrassed by their performance.  Magpies should have won that game...no doubt about it.  

Regardless of what team you support, the past 3 games played by Collingwood have been the most thrilling, and everyone got their moneys worth....Magpie supporter or otherwise.
