GENO's cheese steaks?

Where is it located in philly. I hear it's a historical resturant in philly i plan to visit there. Help please

Geno's Steaks in Philly is located at 1219 south 9th street.  This part of town is called " South Philly" and home to many Italian Americans.  Across the street from Geno's is Pat's Steaks.  Both are excellent.  People for the area enjoy buying one from each place and comparing. Both places have been here for many years and considered to be a part of the history of Philadelphia.

Tip: Get lots of napkins when you order cheesesteaks.
