GENTLEMEN, DO YOU EVER Feel Brainwashed By Radical Feminism's MOVIES?

I watched this movie about seven years ago when I was 19. It was one of the last movies I saw in the theatre. The movie's preeminence was not realized by me at that time, perhaps because feminism was just beginning to pervade television and also because it is probably only a good film when scrutinized under normal conditions.

The clip is in french but this is a minor detail. The film has NO WOMEN characters save a minor role that lasts about a minute. The soundtrack is one of the major reasons this movie is great. Parts to note:

*2:20 to 2:40. In particular, note the way the director has chosen to zoom in on 'Ironclad Security', a rather impervious sounding nomenclature. The computer worker's reaction is perfectly timed with the musical score's climax. And of course DeNiro provides an excellent contrast by being consummately equanimious during a crisis.

*4:35 to 4:55: The time synchronization and safe breaking.

*6:00 to ending. No words can do this part justice!!

  1. Way to use an ad hominem attack against American Man.

You boast of men being more knowledgeable and logical but you have YET to display those characteristics which everyone in your gender should so proudly display.

I considered taking the time to break apart your argument piece by piece and give you specific reasons on why this  is an illogical and terrible redundant but honestly, you drain all the will power out of me. I feel like I lose IQ points every single time you post.

I'll just stick with saying, if you were being brainwashed you wouldn't know it nor would you care about it.

  2. So you feel brainwashed if a movie has more than one female character?

...wait, didn't you just praise "The Sound of Music"?

  3. Yay, you got some new material!  Congrats!

You know, you might try actually watching some modern TV and movies.  If you did, you'd see that you're dead wrong.  How about the Oceans trilogy (Oceans 11, 12 and 13)?  Lots of hunky guys, which appears to be something you look for in entertainment.

  4. If you are 26, why are you looking at 15 year old girls?  You should get out more often.  I hope you are not a teacher.

I have no interest in looking at a film or a world without women.  That would be boring and you seem to fantasize about this alot.  Try the g*y forum, or go to a g*y bar.  You love musicals, and you want a world without women.

    g*y.  Nothing wrong with it.

WHY DO YOU KEEP ASKING RIDICULOUS QUESTIONS IN A FORUM FOR WOMEN ABOUT WOMEN'S STUDIES??? DO YOU REALLY THINK A FEMINIST IS GOING TO CHANGE HER WAYS BECAUSE OF SOMETHING YOU SAY??

Sorry, but you are a joke here.

  5. I don't feel brainwashed by feminist anything. To me, feminism is paper thin and constantly being torn up and tossed in a corner. The greatest force undermining femism today is 'true femininity' that comes from over 95% of all women. Many women who claim to be staunch feminists gave up on men a long time ago. They decided that all men were scum, so what was the point in trying to deal with us. Many of these women are now old and childless. Meanwhile, the women who never gave up on their men are mothers and grandmothers who still aren't giving up on their men, and they are happier than their feminist counterparts who are wondering why they're so miserable at this stage in their lives.

  6. Brainwashing is what happens when someone tries to forcibly change someone else's entire way of thinking. It involves breaking down their identity and sense of self through physiological and psychological trauma over a very long period of time until they come to believe your worldview.

Wiki's reliability is questionable, but here's an overview: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brainwashin...

Brainwashing is not watching a movie.

You could be referring to societal programming, but since you're defining "being societally programmed" as "watching movies," your only problem is we're not being programmed the way you want.
