  1. Urban relates to a built up area such as city or other densely populated area

    Rural areas are sparsely settled places away from the influence of large cities.

    Suburban (or Suburbs) = Outside the city, in developments where the houses all seem to look alike

    Rural = Country (wide spaces, farm land, not a lot of people)
