Question

my gerbil had babies and i would like to know any information about babie gerbils.....

how long til they get fur?

how long til u can handle them? ect.

OH AND DO NOT TRUST PET STORES WE GOT TWO FEMALE GERBILS AND WE HAVE HAD THEM FOR TWO WEEKS AND SO SHE GOT PREGNATE THERE!!!!!!

ACTUALLY you can hold them a day after they are born because gerbils dont cannibalize babies as much as hamsters

and they grow their fur from day 6 and up

They should start having fur by the end of a week.  If the mother is fine with you handling them, you can do so from birth.  Wash your hands with antibacterial soap ahead of time just to make sure you don't get them sick, but she won't attack the babies.

The other female is fine to stay with the babies, too.  Gerbils are very community orientated, and they will raise the babies together.  

Sadly, I was in a very similar situation years ago, with regards to buying a gerbil that was pregnant.

The same thing happened to me. i was supposed to get 2 males but they gave me a male and a female and they had babies. i takes about 1 to 2 weeks till they get fur.u can start to hole them when they have ALL they'er fur.
