I have posted a very similar question and only got 1 answer in this particular forum. Any insights would be appreciated.

Here's the short story. I was on the depo for a number of years, last one being Oct 2007. Let's just make this really short shall we. I have had 5 BFP's since Monday. The problem is I had 2 periods in July. I had one on 07/07/08. In my opinion and from what I remember "normal" to be, that one was it. I ended up with a second one on 07/31/08. To me this one was strange. It started on the 31st and by 08/02/08 was completely over, the other weird thing was is it was a week earlier than I would have thought and I got puking sick. BTW, I have been pretty irregular since quitting the Depo shot, last cycle being only 24 days 7th-31st, can't really remember the cycle before that, closer to 30 days I think. My question is, which date would be the appropriate LMP to use? I called a clinic and they said 7/31. But today is only 8/27. Is it really possible? I mean I know its possible but it seems like such a short amount of time to get that many BFP's. I am guessing anywhere from 4-8 weeks depending on which LMP to use. More than likely only about 4 wks. I have an appt on 09/08.

One last question...If it is in fact 7/31 that we would use, when maybe would have been the estimated O date? The previous month had been 24 days. Not really sure how I would've figured out the rest.

One more thing, I just want to thank everyone on this site. Even though I had never posted here, I have been reading q's and a's on this site for a few months. They have all been really helpful. So far all I had done was inputed LMP's at fertilityfriend and mymonthlycycles to get an idea. (Of course they both had different guesses at the O date.) Hadn't even gotten to start the OPK's or the BBT's yet. Keep hope, if it can happen for me it can happen for you all as well.

  1. You can't imagine 5 BFP's it is time to call your doctor. Bleeding is common in early pregnancy: )*babydust*

  2. Okay...typically the LMP that the doc will use or ask for is the last one that you consider "normal"/"regular". Second, the 7/31 cycle appears to have possibly been implantation bleeding which is usu short light, and brown/pink in color.
