GH>fans "What is Kate Howard hiding"?

Question

The storyline of her past secrets has gone on too long. I am so disappointed in GH for allowing this to continue. Do you know what she is hiding (dont speculate - truth required)

Okay I don't know for ABSOLUTE sure, but I remember something from when she was in the hospital after being shot or whatever about a baby! Maybe named Claire.

When she was in the hospital, when Michael accidentally shot her, she mentioned the name Olivia.  She has since revealed that olivia was/is her cousin.  On yesterday's episode (8-25) she told Sonny a story about how superstitous her grandmother was and how she and Olivia were playing snow white and Olivia took one of their grandmothers mirrors off the wall and it broke.  I am not sure what happened to Olivia (if anything) but she led Sonny to believe that she was alive and well and that they were not close because she and Olivia have always had some sort of competition.  Sonny called the Sorello's and I think he is going to try and track Olivia down for the wedding.  Maybe we will learn more soon.

I'm fairly certain the writers don't know what she's hiding; they just want to give her a big, dark secret for dramatic purposes and didn't bother thinking it through.  The "Olivia" storyline where it was hinted that she had a child was dropped after Guza came back from the strike, along with her heart problems from the shooting and anything else that idiot didn't like and decided the audience wouldn't notice if he never resolved a few plots.

I don't know the truth and besides, soaps always "change" the truth anyways, but Kate did mention something about a baby once. I am SPECULATING that she had Sonny's baby and gave it up.

Unfortunately, none of us are writing for the show so we don't know for sure.  We'll have to speculate.  Okay, here goes:  I think Kate Howard had a baby with Trevor Lansing.  Trevor convinced her to put the baby up for adoption.  She did but regretted it.  Fast forward to present day and Spinelli has discovered who is father is: Trevor Lansing.  It wouldn't take a genius (or maybe it would) to figure out that Kate Howard is his mother.  That's why Spinelli doesn't want Jason to tell Sonny.  Sonny would FREAK!!!!!

Is Olivia or could Olivia be Claudia's mother?  I don't remember them ever saying her name.  That would be very interesting!

Supposedly, they were going to make Spinnelli hers and Sonny;s love child but decided not to go with that thank goodness.  I think it might be Trevor's baby she is hiding.

On another site someone suggested that "Olivia" might be Kate's alternate personality...but I don't know about that. I think so far the only secret she has is that she was Connie Falcorie from Bensonhurst. She's built herself up as socialite Kate she may be embarrassed for her Bensonhurst past to catch up.

Maybe Olivia turned into some type of prostitute or is total trash now and that's why she's left her in Bensonhurst. Oh I hope Sonny invites her to the wedding.  I know you said don't speculate...but I had to!

Kate is desperately trying to hide the fact that she is an uninteresting shrew.  Maybe someone named Olivia will kill her.  

It can't be her and Sonny's love child becuase they said they hadn't had s*x way back when.  At one point a website was reporting that Spinelli's parents were Kate and Trevor.

Well, the original thing they had for her was trashed, remember her saying the name Olivia..well that will never happen. But, there willbe something down the road, but it is anyones guess when that will happen. They have been sitting on stories for over a year now!
