Okay, so for the past three nights in a row there has been this gigantic spider in my room. It's really fast so every time i try to kill it, it runs and hides so i cant find it. I think it lives in my room, because ive never seen it anywhere else and it only comes out at night when im the only one awake.

and like i said, i cant really squish it or anything, so how do i get rid of it? :[

  1. Use a vacuum hose. You should be able to suction it up, no matter how fast it is. And it will die inside the vacuum, because of the dust. (Though this might wake others up)

  2. 1.DONT sleep in your room its scary.

2.Get deodrant and a flame thrower and spray it.

3.DONT sleep in your room, it may have babies.

    4.Sleep on the sofa.

    I hope I helped :)

  3. use lots of bug spray all around u room in the morning and at night. it's the fumes that kill it

  4. never let the spider touch your skin

    it may have stinks.

do a general cleaning inside your room(the entire house is recommended)

    bug spray regularly your room

    do regular cleanup

    and thats it

  5. You don't say where you live, or give any other description of the spider.  If you are in North America, and the spider really is big (2 inches or more) it is not dangerous.  All dangerous North American spiders are small (black widow, brown recluse).  If it has very thin legs, it might not be a spider at all.  It may be a "daddy long-legs" which is harmless.  If it is big and hairy and you live in the southwest, it may be a tarantula.  They are scary looking but not dangerous.  Also, they don't move very fast.  If it bothers you try to get someone to take it outside without killing it.  Spiders are very beneficial to us.

Correction--there is one "spider" that is big and dangerous, and that is a scorpion.  It's not really a spider, but an arachnid.  I would think if you saw a scorpion you would know what it is.  They do move fast, however.

EDIT:  The size of a quarter?  All black?  Could be a black widow.  They can be fast, but they usually jump.  Though not really dangerous, their bite is not pleasant.  If you avoid it it will avoid you.

  6. BUG SPRAY

  7. Many people find spiders repulsive and scary, yet the majority of spiders are harmless and beneficial. Only four kinds of spiders are known to cause health problems in the U.S.

Most spider problems can be solved without the use of chemicals. The first, and perhaps best, suggested controls are mechanical. Inspect door and window casings in the house for closeness of fit. Repair holes large enough to admit spiders. Other areas to inspect include entry points of water pipes and electrical lines. Caulk any cracks and other small openings.
