okay, so a few days ago i got a giant zit right on my nose! UGH! And it's one of those nasty "under the skin" ones. I used apple cider vinegar on in, have beens steaming my face, and did the salt-dissolve thing, and flatten. BUT NONE OF IT REALLY WORKED! It's probably because it's an "under the skin" zit.......i've never had one before!

Last night, it got a little puncture in it, but it didn't look like much, and i figured it would just go away. I put a dab of toothpaste on it (heard it helps), and went to sleep. I remember my nose stung, but i thought it was just working. WELL.....i woke up today, and BAM! It's still there!

but it's WORSE!

it's still sore and kind of red. But, it's starting to turn more white for some reason. OH YEAH! AND the puncture that i had the other night turned into a long scratch mark all the way across the zit! I"M SERIOUS! It looks like my cat came and scratched my zit! I put some alcohol and neosporin on it, but what is going to happen to my zit?

will it get worse! IT"S ALREADY INTERFERED WITH MY LIFE SO MUCH! I MEAN I HAVE SOME ACNE AND IT CAN GET PRETTY BAD, BUT THIS THING IS OUT OF THIS WORLD BAD!!!!! i know some people get them all the time, but i don't, this is my first! AND I DON"T KNOW HOW TO HANDLE IT !

  1. Soap with lye in it works wonders... All though it sounds nasty it works! it clears up skin, lightenns dark spots and cleans really good. It might dry your skin out thoug. Octagon Soap is good its and all pupose soap with lye in it. Or you can wash you hands and face really good and pop that Sh*t!

  2. Try heat, dear.  Get yourself a nice clean washcloth, dampen it, and heat it up in the microwave for a few seconds.  You want it as hot as you can stand it, and put it directly on the spot in question.  Hold it there until it's lukewarm, and repeat the process. Apply moist heat, as hot as you can stand, as often as you can do it.  That will bring more blood supply to the area to isolate the infection, and will result in it forming a whitehead and draining a little quicker for you.  Lay off the potions, toothpaste belongs on your toothbrush, not your face.  The neosporin is petroleum based, and can't get to the infection beneath the skin.  In the meantime it's blocking neighborhood pores.  The alcohol won't help either.  Dry skin is just as prone to breaking out.  When you poked it you probably ruptured the cyst case beneath the skin and allowed the infection to spread to new skin.  Now you have a little larger area involved, and it is going to take a day or so to rid yourself of this.  Just keep the skin clean with soap and water, and apply heat.  And keep your hands off it entirely.  Do not poke, prod, or squeeze it any more.  Apply the heat.  At some point it will form a whitehead and one more application of moist heat will make it drain itself.  At that point, you can aid things with VERY GENTLE pressure along the sides.   Once it drains, wipe your skin down with witch hazel, and apply a tiny drop of tea tree oil if you have it.  Otherwise, do not put anything else on it.  Resist all urges to squeeze to launch it.  If it drains itself, it will heal faster and you will not get another.  If you mess with it, that is a good possibility.  Stick to the moist heat and be patient.

  5. I'm sorry to say but the best way is to not touch it and wait. It'll go eventually. It could take a week, two or three even. Be tough, BUT DO NOT TOUCH IT.

  6. omg..ive had those on my nose a couple times.....they take a couple days for it to go away. get some clearisel and dab it on there, do that everyday for twice a day and it should bring it down dramactily. ohh and be sure to wash your hands and face daily and drink lots of water. it will help keep ur skin clear. if ur in ur early teens its only going to get worse....but it will all go away eventuallly.

  7. dood that sucks for real but really i had the same problem i had a fat zit or pimpel whatever on my right face cheek and d**n that shhit would not go away, for real the opnly thing you can do it wait, i mean wash your face every morning and stuff, and like pout like some kind of acne treatment like proactiv or something. and if none of that works POP IT!. that really works, like it will hurt like h**l but it will go away quicker it might look worse but it will get smaller. the reason it is so biig is because its like just lookin for somewhere to go but it has no where if you pop it all of the inside stuff that makes it get bigger are gonna have somewhere to go, out sideee of your face. it will heal in time is all
