GIMP? CHANGE EYE COLOR? 10 POINTS!?

OKAY! so i just downloaded GIMP off the internet and how do i use it? lol i have no clue what to do.

i want to make my eyes blue.

how do i do that step by step.

1. Choose the free select tool(select "feathered edges for a more natural look).

2. Select the colored part of your eye.

3. Then click "colors" and go down to either "colorize" or "Colorify" and pick a color for your eyes.

free selectt.  click on your eyes ... *part thats colored). click colors, go down to colofiy and click on the blue!
