GIMP? I went on the site and it's so confusing?

Do i need to download it? What do click? Then what?

Somone please send me step by step instructions or a direct link to where i need to be!?

Gimp is a bit of a pain.  I don't like the layout and multiple windows it uses.  For something that is a little more user friendly, expandable, and continuously improved use Paint.net.  I have a link below that will take you to the website needed.  The only thing you'll need first is the Microsoft .net software.  The site does offer help and the software is very useful.. after all it was a project created by some MIT students and it has become a widely downloaded piece of software.  I have included their site below and C-NET if you want to read up first.  Hope this helps...
