  1. 1. open the girl pic, go to menu, layer, transparency, add alpha channel

    2. add a layer and paste a pic to act as a background, pull this layer behind the layer with girl pic

    3. go to menu, layer, mask, add layer mask, white,

    4. ellipse select, draw a ellipse with height shorter than width, and the bottom of dress outside, it doesn't matter if the select is greater than the canvas, it's there to make sure the boundary of the opacity is defined, go to menu select, invert.

    5. use airbrush with biggest circle fuzzy tip, work from bottom up, the more you get close to the boundary, the less opacity, and more blotting than sweeping, try experiment with the scale, that might speed up your process.

    6. click rect select, and click inside the ellipse, then you're done.
