  1. I'm teetering on the brink.

  2. Well first of all I am not a girl but I am a feminist. I study Women and Gender at WMU. I was born to a woman though.

I am prolife and want to see abortion rates reduced drastically. I want women to use more and better forms of birth control so they are not forced to rely on the state to pay for their lives and children.

I want women who *choose* to work as s*x workers (strippers, prostitutes, escorts) to be treated politely and paid a fair wage and accredited with a license to practice like other service workers (hair stylists, masseuses, etc...). I want them to have their profession regulated to take the safety of the men and women involved seriously. It will help reduce/eliminate STDS and it has been proven succesful in the brothels in Nevada where virtually all the women are clean and the men MUST use condoms.

I want to see a woman who aspires to be a stay at home mom viewed as an equal asset in her familys management to the other parent or breadwinner. It takes finance management, culinary skill, planning and many other time management skills to have a successful family and it is not as important in America anymore. I want to see those moms compensated for the lack of social security they are not paying into as they 'work' at home.

I am against the use of pornography that promotes an attitude of misogyny. I don't believe that p**n is inherently bad, but some p**n glorifies maltreatment of women and the industry does not adequately compensate those involved for their personal health and safety risks. Again, it needs to be regulated properly.

Just a couple of many of my favorite topics of debate.

  3. I think there are arguments on both sides. I certainly don't look down on a woman who makes that career choice, but it's unfortunate that society has such a market for that kind of job.

  4. i is genuis feminist. you got a problem with ladies? huh, huh? i have a half a whitebelt in ninja and genuis.

you don't need to cry anymore in your pic Molly. genuis is here and everything is going to be okay.

  5. I'm no type of feminist.  I think females can strip and be empowered if they want to.  Mostly it's because they need the money.

  6. Well, I have no idea how taking your clothes off for money could possibly be construed as "empowering"....

I'd say I'm the type of equality advocate who is against ALL stripping because its demeaning.

  7. In a since both really, more the second though.

In MY opinion being a stripper is not empowering, its just the lazy option to someone who's not cared to get an education and such.

But there are instances that call for it, if someone never had much of a family, didn't have the money for a education higher the high school or even that, well then if they have the body I'm sure that would be an option for it.

It can be thoroughly debated really, I'm not to big on it to tell you the truth.

The only thing I have a problem with are sexist men, that right there needs to end!

  8. i am a junk kickn feminist

  9. I am personally opposed to the s*x industry, but if other women want to do it, that's none of my business.

  10. I'm not a feminist at all, but I generally have a positive attitude towards the s*x industry and alternative sexuality, as long as everything's freely chosen. If a woman wants to be a stripper, she's not hurting anyone so I don't have a problem with it. :)

  11. i am a feminist for total equality..but if a woman wants to objectify herself by being a stripper to turn a buck..thats her choice

    takes all types
