My best friend is turning 16 in about a week, and I want to get her something really, really good. So I need some great ideas. What is the best gift you have ever gotten from someone?

Thanks :)

  1. a gift card, maybe to like, their fave store..=]//moneyy..lol

  2. I haven't gotten this, but gave this to my best friend in high school- I made her a little book (you could use a small scrapbook) full of photos and magazine clippings about our friendship and what I liked about her.  She loved it.

  3. get her a nice walletttt from like fossil or something

or like an expesive piecr of jewlry

my best friend got me nothing for my 16th

    so really

itll top what i got :)

i asked for nothing but if insisted money toward an ipod btw.

  4. tricky question.

Best gift i've ever gotten was either a $50 gift voucher for iTunes, or all the twilight books (but I'm a book worm, so that's just me).

I think you should either give her a really nice piece of jewelry, like a beautiful necklace or a special bracelet, or if she's not into that kind of thing then you could make her something personalized, like decorating a t-shirt with iron ons, fabric safe markers, embroidery etc.

Or you could make/ buy her a groovy bag, or something along those lines. She's your BFF, so whatever it is she'll love it ;)

  5. the best gift i ever got from someone was 100 shiny pennies that were found and then cleaned by hand. it came with a sweet and loving note that described the gift in a symbolic way.

i've always preferred making something for somebody than buying them something.

  6. Buy a pair of plain white shoes or plain white bag and write your message for her on the shoes/bag. Do your own design. You can also ask her other friends to write on it as well! :)

  7. SOMETHING HOMEMADE! is always so so so sweeet! it will make your friend feel that you really care about her- after all, you took the time to make her something rather than going out and buying something!

for example if you make her cookies, (and they're a little burnt), you could always say: i tried to make you some cookies... but they got burnt hehe (and smile sheepishly)

your friend will most likely still say- its ok! (and hug you, because you gave up the time and effort for her bday!)

if you don't like cooking, you can make a personalised box (i.e. with photos of you guys on the outside), and lots of shredded crepe paper/ tissue paper inside hiding her pressie :D

don't forget to add something cute: e.g. a little pom pom with wobbly plastic eyes and foam feet....

have fun! (hope she has a great bday)

if she's into jewellery- try find those 'break-in-half' two piece necklaces that you can share with your friend as a little charm :)
