Question

Why do girls wear makeup?

It's for those of you who actually wear it.. and I would appreciate if those of you who dont wear it, not answer, because I dont want those "natural beauty", "better without makeup" etc..

So why do you wear it?

Do you wear it to make yourself look good to other people?

it makes people feel important! but i just wear it because i like the smalls shapes and colors. im a very kinesthetic person

well the original reason for wearing make up dates back to a very long time ago, the reason was to make girls seam prettier in the eyes of men and to cover up and change the features of their face they dont like. the reason most girls wear blush is to make their cheeks rosier or to make their cheebones seem higher. the reason most girls wear lip gloss to make them seem more 'kissable' to men. the reason i wear it is because it works like chapstick but often tastes and smells better. the reaoson i wear eyeliner is because i really like my eyes and i wat them to pop. the reason i and most grils wear mascara is to make there eyelashes seem bigger and longer and sometimes a different color. that basically covers most makeup products, the main reason is to change the way they look especially for men.

i wear make up to hide my flaws.

Like pimple's or freckles.

or to excentuate what i already have.

and i cannot leave the house without mascara, i dont really know why about that one. have since i was 12. =/

I don't wear make-up to look better. (That might sound weird, but it's true.)

I wear make-up because it gives me confidence. When I take the time to put on mascara and lip gloss and everything else, it makes me feel pampered. And it's just so fun. I love the cute packaging, the colors, and being creative. I think a new shade of gloss or lipstick can make anyone's

day a little brighter. I don't do it for anyone besides myself. To me, boys aren't a factor. And if your boyfriend thinks your putting on make-up is to attract other men, then he is being insecure. Anyways, it makes me feel good. I hope this answered your question.

I wear make up because it's fun. You can be creative and the face is a canvas (but that doesn't mean wear too much make up or wear make up like a clown).

I also wear make up to cover up flaws like red pimples and stuffs like that.

I do wear it because I like the look of it and it makes me look better and pretty. Without it I'm average. And dull. And make up makes you look your best and makes you "presentable" to others.

Make up shouldn't boost your self-confidence, even tho it sometimes does. Because that means, without it you have a lack of confidence and are running to make up to hide behind.

I like people looking at me, and if they look at me and see bad skin or something, it's embarrassing. Make up makes you feel perfect, even though no one is. It's just a self confidence booster.

Make up can boost a person's confidence as well as enhance certain features and bring out other features. In addition, they can also hide things that would usually dimish one's confidence when out in the open.

i do it to hide my imperfections

& bring out what is good

i use cover up to hide freckles & zits and c**p

powder for healthy glow

bronzer for tan

and i use eyemakeup to make my eyes pop

i wear it because it makes my skin look flawless. it makes me feel more confident XD but i also have a tendency to love liptints and glosses even though i have a lot....so thats bad...and i love crazy colored eyeliners and sometimes glitter eyeliner lol

well I would say that I wear makeup to enhance what is already there, I am not sure that I really need it, but I really enjoy putting it on, it's more for me than anyone else. I love putting it on. When I had a boyfriend he told me he appreciated that I made an effort to look good. I don't ver dress for other people, I dress and put on makeup for me for my own enjoyment.
