  1. Tampons are my life saver!

I hate pads -they make you feel like your wearing a pillow in between you legs...

With Tampons you dont even know they are there.

I would start with a regular tampon and once comfortable with those move on to super tampons...(for heavier periods).

All the brands have instructions inside.

I prefer the ones with cover so they dont fluff like cotton balls!

    Libra are the best...

  2. playtex sport lites

w00t! 10 pts! gimme gimme gimme!

  3. well the lite ones wont work if you have a heavy flow

tampax pearl [with plastic applicator] is the BEST.

try the yellow kind [regular] first to get used to putting it in and the feeling. practice even if you dont have your period lol. so that way when you do have your period, you might be ready to go a size up to "super" [green] lol

and dont use the light ones, they suck hhaah

  4. what do u mean? i dont use tampons i use pads i think u shud use that too

  5. look for the medium flow ones or regular tampons (thats seriousloy what the box says) just dont get the super ones if you arent comfortable with them.

  6. pi-pi v****a

  7. Playtex slender tampons with plastic applicator.  They will glide in easily for new tampons wearers and you can use a backup pantyliner for extra protection.  Once you get used to it, then you can buy playtex regular tampons or super for heavier blood flow.

  8. So... how did a guy know this one?

  9. Tampax compax are great - packaged small so easy to hide, get the super plus, they'll take care of the heavy flow.  Also the plastic is very smooth so it doesn't hurt putting it in.

  10. Tampax Pearl (plastic). If you have a heavy flow you should use the regular ones, or you could use the light ones but you have to change them really often.

  11. if someone puts tampax peral DO NOT listen to them...those are the most uncomftrable tthings ive ever used! use playtex sprort! i would reccomed getting the regulars[yellow ones] and for back up i always wear the night pads, which i call diaper pads because they are sooo big, but i love themm!

  12. Playtex gentle glide supers... They have a plastic insertor and they are so comfortable. I played sports and pads are nothing but a mess and smell after a game. You can use a panty liner but get a tampon if in doubt that is SUPER! A panty liner is great just in case the tampon leaks a little bit, but if you change regularly then you should be fine.

  13. Playtex Sport are definitely the best, especially for moving around. Can't even feel them.

  14. I'd suggest tampax - although 'daggy' they come with applicators. This makes it a lot easier for someone who hasn't used tampons before. They come in a range of flow options like super/light etc. Regular size are always a safe bet as long as you change them as needed. Good luck.

  15. Basically any BRAND will do fine...just don't get the generic c**p...its either made of cardboard or some weird material thats just not pleasant. Anyway, it depends on how actually heavy your flow is. If its just really really heavy all the time then your gonna need super plus. However, you said this was your first time using tampons. Try using either a regular or a super. Super on your heaviest days and a regular on like the ending days. Also you may want to wear a pantiliner or even a pad underneath just to catch any leakage from your tampon. Remember not to wear a tampon for more than 8 hours.

I've tried both tampax pearl and platex glide....they both seem fine to me.

Hope I helped...and don't worry it gets better after awhile

P.S. they also make a brand called platex sport for girls who move around a lot and need to have a more contour fitting tampon.

Also, there is a quiz on beinggirl.com that can help you choose the best tampons/pads for your specific type of flow. Try that out!

  16. Playtex, They go in smooth because of the plastic, Get the super Plus and use a pantie liner also if you think it might leak. If you want me to tell you  something else, email me in private. happytailskennel@yahoo.com

  17. i use tampax pearl. i think they're great. [the plastic applicator ones]

  18. playtex sport regular, hands down.
