  1. THERE'S NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT! ALL WOMEN (should) GO BRA SHOPPING. It's totaly natural to be nervous, but it is kinda fun. I don't know how old you are but I am 16 almost 17 and would rather do it by myself. I know my sizes and such so that makes it easier. I'd head to Victoria's Secret, their bra's are sooo comfortable it's ridiculous! Believe it or not, it's kinda a fun Mother daughter bonding time :)

  2. Well. You'll probably go in the store and be measured, and try on a bunch of bras. Nothing big.

    My First Bra Experience:

We went to the store. Since I was totally flat chested and my mother just grabbed the trainer bras. We walked out. I felt... kind of bored. V_V

Do you know what excruciating means? You have an extra "ing" hon.

  3. When I needed one, I just said to my mom, "Mommy, I need a bra." XD Then she took me, and I was nervous, cause I didnt know anything about it, but when we got there she told me about the sizes and stuff and I just picked out some realyl cute ones XD

  4. i cant remember, my mom just bought me a bra and  i just wore it. but i will tell you that even to this day (17 years old) that i HATE bra shopping because there are always men around because usually the bras are near the mens clothing and i feel like an idiot carrying bras and walking past a middle aged man!

  5. aha. Dont be nervous.

Its exciting not having to wear the stupid training bras anymore.

I remember my first time i was around 10 years old. im only 14 now but my mom tortured me she was more  excited than me. She went crazy making me try on all these bras. I was embarressed at first but then it was fun. Getting to pick out all these bras and finding what size you are. I mean theres really nothing to be nervous about.

The only thing is DONT let your mom be all embarressing to the cashier and be like this is her first real bra my daughter is getting so bigg. ladididida. aha. (:

  6. don't be nervous.

I bought my first real bra with my mum and a friend of mine. I didn't really asked for it. we were on a mall and entered a lingerie store (my dad and my brother stood outside :P). we were going to sleep over at my aunt's house and had forgotten our PJ's so we were hoping to find some in that store. Then I saw it... My first bra! lol

Since my b***s are not very big I just looked for the smallest size and entered a fitting room. I put it on, it fitted so I asked my mum if I could buy it. And that was it. It's not really a big deal.

    Good luck!

  7. i was kinda nervous, but once i actually go to the store, i was excited

just try not to think about it too much.

  8. i was bummed

  9. Don't worry!

congrats on asking your mom haha

but i was scared too..i didn't ask my mom..i just picked one out and said "here" and she said ok is it the right size LOL...trust me, it's not scary, you'll get used to it :)

  10. Congrats! :-) It should be fun - no need to worry. You don't have to go to Victoria Secret and have them measure you and make a big deal of it -- just got to any Dept Store and take a bunch into the dressing room and try some on -- it will be totally private and if you need advice your mom will be there :-) Lots of cute styles out there for teens, so have fun!

  11. bras ! yay !

    lol

omg don't even worry about it. just have fun with it. with my mom i always laugh when we go. we pick out the biggest ones and walk around with them.

dont worry about guys looking at you while you are buying/finding the right bra. every girl needs one, so its no big deal. besides, if they have a problem, just remind them that you dont have to buy them if they dont want you to look good for them!! idk,  lame comeback.

but anyway, thats great you've come to the stage to get a bra. its an icon of your femininity. :)  good luck!

P.S.  (TIP!!!) i know the colored bras are super cute and you'll be itching to buy them, but just make sure you understand that with some clothes the colors will show through.

  12. I purchased my first bra in the fifth grade, before I even HAD b***s! L0L! I was always scared of the whole nipple-popping-out thing and I was actually really excited to get my first bra. I went straight for the pushup. :D

There's nothing to be nervous about! I cried when I got rejected by my mother for my first bra but she was quick to purchase me a really cute supportive one when "things" started coming out. LMA0!

This should be an exciting day for you! Just try to think of how "grown up" you'll be and how much more mature you'll feel.

    :]

    GL!

  13. Good for you!! I was a little nervous, but mostly excited because I finally didn't have to be so uncomfortable. Just calm down because you were courageous, and now you're getting what you wanted!

My story is that I was wearing undershirts with bras built in a lot, and then my mom figured out that I needed one and took me shopping. I wasn't as brave as you. :Z

  14. There's nothing to be nervous about.

    It's just a bra!

    Chill

    :)

My mom just bought me one and was like here. I put it on and yeah.

Get a tan colored one. So it camoflauges with your skin.

    Unless your black

ahah but i suggest getting your skin colorr

    yeahhh

    return the favor?

  15. Yay!! You get to go bra shopping!!! :-)

I think that the most important thing is to be sure that you get the right size.  There's nothing worse than the wrong sized bra.

    BRA SIZE: HOW TO MEASURE

    BAND SIZE

    • Measure around your ribcage, directly under the bust.

    • Add 5 to this measurement to obtain your band size. (i.e.: If your ribcage measurement is 29" + (5) = 34" band size.)

    CUP SIZE

    • Measure completely around the bust at the fullest point.

    • Each inch of difference between this measurement and your BAND size = cup size. (i.e.: If your band size is 34" and your bust measurement is 35", you wear an "A" cup.)

    If the difference is:

less than 1 inch =  AA cup

    1 inch =  A cup

    2 inches =  B cup

    3 inches = C cup

    4 inches = D cup

    5 inches = DD cup

My dad took me to get my first bra, it was a little embarrassing, but it was a dad/daughter bonding moment.  It was fun.  :-)

    Have a good time!! :-)

  16. well i didn't ask for my first bra. my mom just gave it to me and it was a hideous thing to pink with like these ugly pink sequins on the top and it was uncomfortable but your first bra always is. i was pretty mad that my mom got me an ugly thing and didn't even take me with her to get it. to keep from getting nervous just remember that every women has to do this at least once by this i mean go shopping for their first bra. don't feel embarrassed it's nothing to be embarrassed about

  17. well when i first asked my mom if we could go bra shopping a was so nervous but she took it really well, when i got to the bra shop ( i think it was la senza) i got measured and the lady said that she didn't think she had a bra that was small enough for me so i got really embarrassed. but in the end it was fine i found some bras that fit and i left in a REALLY good mood! good luck you will have fun, no question about it! hope this is the first of many great bra shopping trips!!
