always keep your make up simple in the day I mostly use my skin color base ..before you put your base clean your face then put a little of any moisture to your face and then add your skin color base this would help your skin to look soft and healthy ..also add to your eyes a little of a light brown or gold make up and to your lips a pink lip gloss ...

At night do the same thing with the base . The problem in here is that you don't want to look very dramatic you want to look delicate use metallic colors with soft colors and for your lips use always a lip gloss .. Advice when you use dark colors like black or very navy blue be very delicate with it so you don't look like if somebody hit you in the eye or something like that .. I wish I help you in something

I have a few tricks I learned from my relatives:

- I keep my nail polishes in the fridge, they dry in 5 minutes tops, no smudging at all

- To make lipstick stay and not fade I take one ply of tissue put it over my lips and pat on some translucent powder, I can go a full day of work and not have to reapply at all

- I use black eye shadow powder and an angled brush for eye liner first i dab the brush in Vaseline then in the powder, it never smudges and doesn't get all raccoon looking throughout the day

- I always wash off my make up thoroughly at night, no matter how tired I am

- My last isn't really make up but more general beauty. As my grandma said "its best to start with a new canvas, not one that has been walked over" Meaning, that the best thing you can do is clean your face and get it in tip top shape before you start trying to cover it all up, make sure your teeth are white and you are dressed nicely and smell great, after that your make up wont be such a big part of your overall look.

here are some specific things i do when using makeup:

when using blush (i use powder blush), lighty put translucent powder over it so it looks natural, kind of like its under your skin.

i usually use concealer under pressed powder so it smooths out my skin.

if ur using dark shadow put it right above ur eyelids, then use the same color and a lighter shade all over.

if using lip color/gloss, use a neutral lip pencil color and use it on the egdes of ur lips so the gloss doesnt bleed off ur lips.

put black eyeliner on the bottom from the outside to your tear ducts, and dark brown on the top to make your eyes look bigger.

mascara: apply one thin coat, let dry and repeat for no clumping, no matter what mascara you use [[even greatlash which is like $4]]
