When s a girl gets her period can people smell the odor?? Ik its gross but i was just wondering

I have actually never really smelt mine...when I first get it and I go to the bathroom if i really breath in I smell blood but otherwise no.

If anything you can go to a drugstore and pick up some feminine spray, it works wonders.

I worry about that too, but honestly, ppl can&#039;t smell it unless its really bad.  Just keep on showering alot and try to wear perfume (not too much though) to drown the smell a bit.  I also found that when I switched to tampons from pads, the smell died down significantly.  You want to think about making the switch if the smell issue keeps bothering you.

yes, if you dont change your tampon/pad often enough...as long as you do that and dont let too much collect, no one should be able to smell it. (but it can stink after a while!:(ewwie)

Ok, most of them have it right so far. Just keep it clean and change often.

Also, some pads come with cleaniness wipes. I love them! (baby wipes work well too)

DON&#039;T overdue it on the spray, nobody appreciates that and it will be obvious you are covering something up.

Also a little trick my grandma told me about was to lightly sprinkle baby powder in your panties, but make sure you&#039;re not allergic...ouch!

Unless it&#039;s REALLY bad, most likely no.

The only time /I&#039;ve/ ever smelled it was in the bathroom, but obviously you would in a place where a lot of girls have their pants down. :]

Personally I think tampons really help mask the odor since they literally &quot;plug&quot; up the v****a so no blood seeps onto your pad/panties and thus no smell.

I use baby powder, I don&#039;t know if that helps though lol, every time I change my pad. Baby powder smells good =]

I don&#039;t know if other people can smell it though. When one of my friends tell me, &quot;I&#039;m on my period,&quot; I can&#039;t smell it. So I don&#039;t know if this helps...

Wear a tampon and you&#039;ll be fine. If you wear a pad, that&#039;s like a baby wearing a diaper. And you can smell a baby, right?
