GLX, immobiliser,engine?

what does GLX mean in a car

and whats is an immobiliser?

and does a 1.4 engine eat up more petrol?

GLX is the level of trim: on a 206 this gives you rain sensing wipers, tinted windows, external temp & oil pressure gauges, electric heated mirrors etc.,

An immobiliser stops the car being stolen without the correct key - standard on all UK cars now.

A 1.4 engine will not be particularly thirsty, but will also be much nippier than a smaller 1.1 engined variant. Looking at the specs, you'll lose only 1 mpg on average over the 1.1 version.
