there is a new opening for a great ob where I work and in email they send us they said that:

'The selection process will include the following:

1. Aptitude tests - 50% weight in the final grade:

· GMAT (30%);

· Attention (20%)

2. Interview - 50% weight in the final grade.'

Does anyone knows what GMAT stand for. I know what GMAT really is, but you really think they will actually do that? (I am from outside US) any tops will help. thank

  1. Does the job require an MBA?  The GMAT is the entrance test for that degree.  You should call and ask them if there is some equivalency for the GMAT since you apparently haven't taken it.

  2. GMAT stands for Graduate Management Admission Test.  I, personally, have not heard of an employer requiring persons to take the GMAT for a position.  However, if they say they are requiring it, there is no reason to believe they will not.
