  1. i remember smiths doing these in the 60's i loved them.

  2. The sixties when I was young and care free and the micro processor was just a dream. I can even remember the smell of Smiths Crisps being cooked as I past the factory on my way to and from school (long since been pull down, the factory not the school). Smiths did the blue salt bag long before Golden Wonder.

Do you remember Pepsi when it actually tasted different to Coke.

  3. you can still buy them

  4. I can remember Smith's with the blue bag of salt way back..... unfortunately!

  5. They were great until you got a bag without the salt bag inside :-(

I loved Nutty bars. Finger of fudge covered in caramel with nuts stuck all over it. I miss them too :-(

  6. spangles, texan bars, treats, and were walnut whips loads bigger in the 70s early 80s and I'm sure waggon wheels were the size of waggon wheels

  7. Salt n Shake crisps, you can still get them

  8. Refreshers

    Golden Cup

    Fry's Peppermint Creme

    Swizzels

    Lemon Bon Bons

    Anglo Bubbly Gum

    Little Nippers

    Kop Kop's

Bournville Dark Chocolate (you got 2 thin bars in a packet)

    Sherbet Lemons

    Poor Ben's

    Lion's Midget Gems

    Curly Wurley's

    Koff Kandy

A lot of those I have mentioned might still be sold, but unfortunately they are just a distant memory for me here in NZ.

  9. I remeber Smiths in the 80s with a blue bag.....I think you can still get them...but someone else bought up Smiths.
