  1. Hybrids are good to replace 3, 4, and 5 irons, but above that, if you're still relatively young....you should go with cavity back irons. Hybrids are more forgiving, but as you get better you will not be able to work the ball left and right as easily. Nothing replaces practice, but hybrids will improve your long irons. Hybrids have a lower center of gravity and will help you get the ball in the air better. The main thing to consider when buying clubs....the shaft. Get your swing speed measured and buy the right flex for your swing. Buy the most expensive clubs you can afford, it will make a difference. Adams Golf makes good hybrids.

  2. 1st having a hybrid and irons are good

2nd it depends when u use the hybrids it is better to use a hybrid on a par 5 2nd shot and it is better to use irons on par 3 or par 4

lastly, the best hybrid is the cobra because my dad uses them and its been going very well with the club

  3. I know this won't be of much help....but remember.  The magic is in the swing...not the clubs.  Tiger could beat nearly anyone with a set of Wilsons bought at a Walmart.  Forget new clubs.  Take some lessons from a good teaching professional.

  4. If you are tired of hitting bad shots, take some lessons and learn to hit good shots. No clubs or balls will improve your game if your basic golf swing is bad. Then perhaps you will have better appreciation for the irons and the skill required to hit them well. Apparently you have succumbed to the hype for the hybrid.

  5. I have a hybrid 4 and 5 iron, and I like them better than the normal irons. I don't play a 3 iron.
