GOLF QUESTION: How can i get the ball up in the air on my Fairway shots?

I have no problems on the tee and no problem with my short game. I am loosing too many shots on the fairway because I continously top the ball. Any Advice?

Are you lifting your head and looking where the ball is gonna go, that used to be my problem.

let your swing swing through at impact dont lift your head and your swing should tur for you

place the ball up in your stance line up alittle left (if your right handed) and open the face a little. it will work, i promise

there are a few options, first keep your head down. if you are tall, your clubs may be too short.  one quick way is to line up with the ball further to the back of your stance

I have that problem from time to time. It usually happens when I do 1 of 2 things. I either lift my head, or I straighten my knees during my swing. My partner is constantly (since I am a new golfer) telling me to 'stay down on it'.

I have a mental run down when I am going to hit and 'stay down' is the last on the list on a fairway shot.

I've had that same problem myself, and it drives me crazy.  But the key is to keep your head down until your club makes contact with the ball.  I sometimes have trouble doing it, because I'm looking at where I want the ball to go.  But keeping your head down is the key.

Head down at least 3 count after shot

Dont try to lift the ball in the air, the club's loft do the work

Move the ball up in your stance

Easier swing the better
