If you haven't yet, sign up for lastfm or ilike.....both track the songs you listen to on your computer and make recommendations on bands you may like.

You can also just go to their website and see the most similar artists for every band. I'd also recommend checking out pandora. It's an online radio station where you pick a band or song and it plays similar songs. Lastly look on the play bills for major music festivals like coachella, bonnaroo, and lollapalooza

Here's what you do:

Go to www.pandora.com.

Type in a band name or the name of your favourite song.

Sit back, and be amazed.
