Something that is NOT!!!! one of the following:

VCR's

DVD's

TIVO

I would PREFER!!! anything like a 160GB DVR with NO subscription or one that records with little 4GB flash drives (like the ones you put in cameras)

I will also accept any recommendations on DISH or DIRECTV DVR's that you own. The only reason I DON'T want to hear TIVO is because i don't want to deal with them :@ :@ :@

And PLEASE DO tell me what the product is called, how much it cost, and where can i get it??? THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME TO ANSWER THIS QUESTION!!

  1. You can buy a Free To Air System, and its a one time payment, just keeping in mind its a little expensive.  You may want to wait till Christmas to buy these.  Make sure to ask the SalesPerson if its a CLONE PVR, people have said that clone PVR's tend to break down faster.

What you'll need for your Free To Air PVR is:

    - Buy a new Dish or existing Dish, like DirectTV, sometimes antenna work with the PVR.

    - Buy a Free To Air LNB. (connects on your dish)

    - Buy a Sata HardDrive (this will store your shows and movies)

    - Buy a non-clone Free To Air Digital PVR System.

    - Connect PVR and Dish together and you got FREE TV service.

One time payment and the service is FREE for life!

    and thats it!

    no more TV service bills!

  2. well since you don't want to subscribe to anything I recommend DVD player I'm not sure you can hook up you camera to it but i the that will be a no hassle situation ........... have fun!
