The problem is not about how much money, and only a moron would think it was.

The problem was with no planning for a disaster being carried out by FEMA before Katrina hit.

The problem with moneys came after the disaaster was over because there was no control over who got and did not get it.

I am very proud to have made the choice to vote Republican this year. I am also changing Party's for all elections in the future. I will not be involved with a bunch of ruthless, America Haters, that will stop at nothing to get their candidate elected. I learned at a very early age, that if you do not have integrity, you have nothing. I have seen how the Republicans have pulled together in this time of need, and instead of filling a football stadium, they decided to help Americans. I am proud that I got away from the Democrats, and I still have my integrity. Democrat for McCain/Palin 2008.

Remember Katrina? How well did the GOP perform then? It had the biggest death toll of any natural disaster in US history because the GOP f--ked up. Katrina is more representative of how the GOP handles emergencies. I don't recall any major losses of life from hurricanes during the Clinton administration. I guess the GOP only wants to save white fetuses, but could care less about blacks in New Orleans.

WE need to inform/TELL our political representatives that WE NEED TO PASS a Constitutional Amendment for the LINE ITEM VETO.

This will keep the SPECIAL INTEREST GARBAGE from being attached to valuable legislation.

IF your special interest is SO valuable, why do you have to HIDE it in valuable legislation?

So, with them REFUSING to PASS the Line Item Veto, in reality, the House and Senate have REALLY been controlling the country!!

AND, with the CURRENT Senate and Congress having the WORST approval rating in HISTORY, hopefully we will see a LOT of changes after the general elections.

Democrats generally believe in heavy fines for honest work, while rewarding sloth and indulgence.

Do YOU think that people should be able to do absolutely nothing productive and get government hand-outs for sloth and indulgence - healthcare, tobacco, alcohol, drugs, STDs, etc. ??
