  1. You bet!!! Frank gore is wayyyyy overrated!!! He averaged only 70 yards a game last year. Plus, it's not like he can do any better this year with such a bad O-line, one of the worst in the league. Maroney is always a solid back and parker is a great backup with 1000+ rushing yards the last two or three seasons. I'd do that deal in a second. Maroney will get a pretty good amount of td's with such a good o-line, they will use him a lot this year. And last, parker is wanting more red-zone time and the steelers will give him a little more. So yes, do this trade. Good luck in the season and i hope this helps.

  2. Kind of a toss - up.. Frank Gore could be stud this year, but he could also let you down like last year.  He's a great RB (besides a fumble tendency that Parker also has), but he's on a c**p team that didn't get any better.  He will play 3 quarters at week, because SF 4th quarters are going to be all about passing ... of course, if you are in a PPR league, Gore might be ok - he has decent hands.

Maroney should get a few more TDs this year, but really -  I don't see NE changing their game plan too much, and we may actually see the resurrection of LaMont Jordan in NE coming to take a way a few carries (perhaps short yardage red zone).

I would probably do the trade because I like trading... but then be very nervous about it.

  3. hmm...not so sure about this but consider these facts

maroney will get more actions than last year and will get more TDs.

Parker, however will not get more actions because of his rookie RB teammate Mendhall.

and Frank Gore will do good this year.

  4. Two starting RB's for only one???  That is a great trade for you!!  Go for it!!!

  5. Yes because I have Gore in 2 of my 4 fantasy teams, hopefully 3 after next weeks draft. But I'm a 9ers fan.

If I wasn't a 9ers fan, I don't think I would. Parker is the workhorse on a run dominated team. And Maroney has the potential to be a great back if they use him right. If Moss, Brady or Welker get hurt, Maroneys value could double.

I guess it would depend on my RBs. If you need a bench RB then I would take Parker and Maroney. BUT if you have a decent RB to start on your bye week, or a WR to put into your W/R spot when your RB has a bye then Gore will have the better season. Remember Martz is the OC in SF. Gore = Faulk
