  1. It depends...if it's on a private charter or your friend's boat then wear either.  If it's on a public charter then I'd wear shoes.  Those decks can't get real nasty and slippery.


  2. How's the weather?  Closed if it is crappy and a rafting type of sandal if it is nice, flip flops are ok but if you hook into one you want the control of a Teva or Chaco type of sandal.  Don't forget to apply sunscreen to the tops of your feet.
