GPS Navigation System - KNA-G510 - Parking break wire??

Question

What happnes if you just tape the parking break wire off and don't utilize it? Will the unit still work. If not, where and what should it be connected to?

i just installed my unit td and my deck is not even recognizing that the gps unit it there what do i do ?
